Qualification Soldier (General Duty): Class 10th with 45% aggregate and 33% in each subject. Soldier Clerk: 10+2 with 60% aggregate and 50% in each subject; 50% in English & Maths mandatory. Soldier Tradesmen (except House Keeper & Mess Keeper): Class 10th Pass; minimum 33% in each subject. Soldier Tradesmen (House Keeper & Mess Keeper): Class 8th Pass; minimum 33% in each subject.
