Eligibility

• Only In-Service Teachers: Teaching Classes 1–8 in Government, Aided & Recognized Unaided Schools.
• Must be appointed as SGT, BT Assistant, or equivalent cadre.
• Paper I: 10+2 with Diploma in Teacher Education / D.El.Ed.
• Paper II: Graduation in relevant subject with B.Ed. or equivalent.
• Eligibility limited to teachers appointed on or before 01.09.2025.

• General Category: 60% (90/150)
• BC/BCM/MBC/DNC/PWD: 50% (75/150)
• SC/SCA/ST: 40% (60/150)

How to Apply

• Click on TNTET 2026 (Working Teachers) notification link.
• Register using valid email ID and mobile number.
• Fill the online application form carefully.
• Upload photo (40–60 KB), signature (20–40 KB), and required certificates (PDF 250–300 KB).
• Pay the application fee and submit the form before 10-04-2026.
• Take a printout of the submitted application for future reference.
