Qualification

• Project Scientist E: M.Sc./B.Tech + Doctorate/M.Tech preferred, and about 11 years relevant experience (post-wise).
• Project Scientist III: M.Sc./B.Tech + Doctorate/M.Tech preferred, and about 7 years relevant experience.
• Project Scientist II: M.Sc./B.Tech + Doctorate/M.Tech preferred, and about 3 years relevant experience.
• Project Scientist I: M.Sc./B.Tech (post-wise details in official notification).
• Scientific Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree in Science/Computer/IT/Electronics/Telecom as specified.
• Admin Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree with required computer skills.
• Nationality: Indian nationals only.
• All post-specific essential qualifications and experience must be satisfied by the closing date.

• Category-wise relaxation will be as per Government of India rules.

Selection Process

• Screening of applications based on eligibility, qualifications and experience.
• Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview / personal interaction as applicable.
• Final selection will be based on performance in the interview/personal interaction, and assessment of qualifications & experience by the Selection Committee.
• No TA/DA is usually admissible for attending the interview unless specified otherwise in the notification.

Pay Scale / Salary

• Project Scientist E: Rs.1,23,100/- + HRA.
• Project Scientist III: Rs.78,000/- + HRA.
• Project Scientist II: Rs.67,000/- + HRA.
• Project Scientist I: Rs.56,000/- + HRA.
• Scientific / Admin Assistant: Rs.29,200/- + HRA (post-wise).
• Exact pay fixation and allowances as per IMD / Government rules.
