Qualification

• Essential: Matriculation / 10th Pass or its equivalent from a recognised Board/Institution.
• As per department-wise requirement, Matriculation or equivalent pass shall be required (please read the official notification for exact department-wise qualification wording).
• Candidates must satisfy themselves that they possess requisite qualification, age, experience as on 15/01/2026.

Application Fee

• Application fee: Rs. 100/- (One Hundred only).
• Women candidates and candidates belonging to SC / ST / PwBD & Ex-serviceman categories are exempted from paying the application fee.
• Payment Mode: SBI e-pay (only). Other modes of payment will not be accepted.
• Note: Application Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Important Dates

• Opening Date of Application: 17/12/2025 (From 12.00 Noon)
• Closing Date of Application: 15/01/2026 (Till 11:59 PM)
• Cut-off date for determining educational qualification, age, experience etc.: 15/01/2026

Age Limit

• Age Limit for MTS posts: 18 to 27 years (as on 15/01/2026).
• Age relaxation is applicable as per advertisement and Government of India rules (category-wise relaxations for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-servicemen etc.).

Selection Process

• The selection shall be made through a One Tier Examination (I Tier – General) for Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS).
• Computer Based Examination (CBT) of 200 objective-type questions (200 marks) covering General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability, Arithmetical & Numerical Ability, Test of Hindi Language & Comprehension, and Test of English Language & Comprehension.
• Questions will be bilingual (Hindi & English) except language papers which will be in the concerned language only.
• Negative marking: 0.25 marks deduction for each wrong MCQ.
• Minimum qualifying marks: General/EWS: 40%; OBC (Delhi): 35%; SC/ST/PwBD: 30%. Ex-servicemen will get 5% relaxation subject to minimum of 30%.
• Marks will be normalized if required and provisional selection/allocation will be merit-cum-preference based subject to verification.
• Draft answer keys will be displayed and objections can be submitted online within stipulated time.
• Skill Test / Endurance Test / Driving Test / Trade Test will be conducted where required by the job.

Pay Scale / Salary

• Pay Scale for Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS): ₹ 18,000 – 56,900/- (Pay Level-1).
• Group classification: Group ‘C’ (Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial).

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidate must be a citizen of India.
• Candidate must satisfy essential educational qualification, age, experience etc. as per User Department rules for the post.
• Educational qualification, age, experience shall be determined as on 15/01/2026.
• Essential qualification for listed MTS posts: Matriculation / equivalent pass from recognised Board/Institution (department-wise specifics as mentioned in notification).
• Desirable qualifications: NIL for all listed MTS posts.
• Essential/Desirable experience: NIL for all listed MTS posts.

General Information / Instructions

• Candidates must apply online only through https://dsssbonline.nic.in. Applications by post/hand/mail will be rejected.
• Only one online registration and one online application is allowed per candidate. Multiple applications will be rejected.
• Fill correct and active e-mail & mobile number and regularly check Board’s website for communications.
• Upload recent clear colour photograph with plain white/off-white background; blurred/illegible photos will lead to rejection.
• Request for correction/change in any particulars of the application will not be entertained after submission.
• The Board reserves the right to cancel/modify the advertisement, change exam centres, cancel part or entire process, and amend the examination scheme.
• Use of electronic devices is prohibited in examination centres; possession may lead to debarment and legal action.
• Do not furnish false particulars or suppress information; candidature will be cancelled and legal action may follow for misconduct/malpractice.

• Ensure you are registered on DSSSB portal: https://dsssbonline.nic.in (one-time registration).
• Apply online from 17th December, 2025 (12.00 Noon) to 15th January, 2026 (till 11:59 PM) through the portal; link will be disabled after the last date.
• Read instructions carefully while filling the Online Application Form.
• Submit application in Online Mode only; applications through any other mode will not be considered.
• Pay requisite fee through SBI e-pay only (if applicable).
• Take printout of the online Application Form after successful submission for your records.
