Age Limit

Selection Process

• Selection will be based on interview and eligibility verification.
• Document Verification.

• LLB Degree.
• Practice in Criminal Law for at least 10 years.
• Handled at least 30 criminal trials in Sessions Courts.
• Leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of computer systems (preferable).

Deputy Chief Legal Aid Defence Counsel

• LLB Degree.
• Practice in Criminal Law for at least 7 years.
• Handled at least 20 criminal trials in Sessions Courts.
• Legal research & IT proficiency.

Assistant Legal Aid Defence Counsel

• LLB Degree.
• Practice in Criminal Law (0–3 years).
• Good communication & research skills.
• IT knowledge with proficiency.
