Qualification

• Three-year Graduate degree in Life Science subjects / Medical Lab Technology / Biotechnology.
• OR M.Sc / M.Tech in Life Sciences / Biological Sciences / Biotechnology / Medical Lab Technology from a Government / Govt.-recognized, reputed Institute / University.
• Three years of post-qualification experience in relevant subject (if applying with a graduate degree).
• Desirable: Work experience in hospital set up, medical laboratories or biomedical research.
• Desirable: Fluency in Assamese, English & Hindi.
• Desirable: Proficiency in computer applications.
• Maximum Age: Up to 35 years as on the date of the Interview.

Pay Scale

• Monthly consolidated Emoluments: Rs. 28,000/- + 20% HRA = Rs. 33,600/- (per month) approx.

Selection Process

• Shortlisted candidates will be informed via e-mail regarding the interview / written test (online/offline) schedule.
• Final selection will be based on performance in the interview / written test.

• The decision of the selection committee, with approval of the Executive Director, AIIMS Guwahati, will be final.

General Information / Instructions

• The position is purely on contract basis for an extramural research project funded by ICMR-NIRDHDS, New Delhi.
• Initial appointment is for six months and may be extended based on satisfactory performance, up to the project duration (approximately three years).
• This recruitment does not confer any right for regular appointment or permanent absorption in AIIMS Guwahati.
• No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview / written test.
• Selected candidates must join within 10 days of the issue of the offer of appointment.
• No hostel or accommodation facility will be provided by the institute.
